Metalizing Gun

Metalizing gun's for increasing the life of mild steel or metal component.metalizing is also known as thermal spray gun and mostly used in various industries.

Thermal spray gun

thermal spraying gun used to collect flaming thermal spray powders on to solid work surfaces. The powder or metal to be sprayed is loaded in A hopper mounted on the gun, then filled by gravity through a metering valve into an aspirator chamber where it’s melted into accurate particles and propelled by air towards the work surface. With this model, the deposit efficiency is very high meaning only a minute amount of the powder is lost by being blown away or destroyed in the flame. Sprayed coatings are typically very dense and uniform.

Flame spray gun

The flame spray gun is basically used for spraying of molten material on a surface to provide a coating. The material in powder form is melted in a flame (oxy-acetylene or hydrogen most common) to form a good spray.

When the spray contacts the prepared surface of the component material, the fine molten droplets quickly solidify forming a coating. This flame spray process brought out correctly is called a "cold process" (relative to the substrate material being coated) as the substrate temperature can be held low during processing

stave off collapse, metallurgical variations & perversion to the component material. The advantage of this flame spray process across the similar Combustion wire spray process is that a much wider range of metals can be easily processed into powder form

The flame spray process is only defined by materials with higher melting temperatures than the flame can provide or if the material decomposes on heating.

Arc spray gun

In  Arc Spray Gun process two electrically conductive wires are melted by means of an electric arc. The molten material is atomized by compressed air and propelled on the component surface. The collision molten particles on the substrate rapidly solidify to form a coating. This arc spray process brought out correctly is called a "cold process" (relative to the substrate material being coated) as the component temperature can be kept low during processing avoiding damage, metallurgical changes & distortion to the component material.

Electric arc spray gun coatings are usually denser and stronger than their equivalent combustion spray coatings. Low running costs, high spray rates, and effectiveness make it a good tool for spraying large areas and high production rates. Limitations of the electric arc spray process are that only electrically conductive wires can be sprayed and if substrate preheating is required, a separate heating source is needed.
